Focus on Surgical Education has been the official publication of the Association for Surgical Education since 1983. While it has been a great source of information for our membership over the course of 26 years, it was decided by the ASE Board of Directors that many of the features of FOCUS would be better delivered through the ASE website. In its place, the ASE will create an annual report that will summarize the history, mission and current activities of both the ASE and the ASE Foundation. 

     In the FOCUS online section, members will continue to find articles that they've enjoyed over the past years, including Board of Directors, Committee and ASE Foundation reports, along with features such as Review of the Literature, Educator’s Corner, Just a Byte and Invited Articles from our members.

     For our members’ convenience, we will keep the past issues of FOCUS archived and available within the Members’ Only area of our website.

     Members of the ASE can access a comprehensive archive of past  Focus issues by logging into the Member's area using the link in the upper right corner of each webpage.
