    So now you have a group, you have leaders, you have relationships with the school and with faculty, and you have some money. What are you actually going to do?


Your main goal should be to develop meetings or events that will achieve your objectives, and with this, you need to determine how often you want to meet and at what time of the day. In a survey of SIGs, frequency generally ranged from three to four times per year to monthly, and most meetings will be held at noon or early evening when the most students would be potentially available.  Probably the most important thing that you can initially do to attract people is to have food, and pizza seems to be the fuel of choice for most Interest Groups.
