Surgical education is vastly changing due to innovations in technology, techniques, and addition of digital communication and learning tools. Who knows what other innovations will impact the surgical education landscape in 30 years!
Tell us what you think the future holds!
Please consider submitting a brief essay (<1000 words), painting, photograph, cartoon, image, poem, or any other artistic form that you think best represents what you think a day in the life in surgical education will look like in 2050. Please provide a descriptor with any imagery submitted. We welcome a broad array of perspectives (trainee, educator, administrator, leader, position, etc.) to be the focus of the submission.
The highest rated submissions will be highlighted at the 2022 annual conference and may be used to inspire a fireside discussion about what the future holds during the joint session of ASE and APDS on Thursday, May 5th.
All submissions due by November 7, 2021
