Refinements that have been made look great- especially the specificity of many of the goals.
Laura Torbeck
I have reviewed this document and feel it is concise, specific and measurable. Looks good to me.
John Falcone
I think this looks good.
Would suggest putting the official committee names as opposed to abbreviations to be consistent with the GTF and bylaws changes (Surgical Education Research Group instead of SERG for example).
Aimee Gardner
Looks good. As some of these have a deadline of SEW 2019, we'll need to get moving!
Michael Hulme
Membership objective #1: increase by 8% annually for 5 years seems challenging, even assuming that the desired growth rate is not compounding.
Sue Steinemann
John F. - Thanks, will definitely use the official committee names
Michael H. - Agree it is an ambitious goal! However we had some ambitious folks with great minds at the "membership" table for our strategic planning. We'll see how it progresses (and yes, the goals can be recalibrated if needed)
Kenneth Gow
I think the 8% for membership increase is probably not realistic.
Roy Phitayakorn
Agree that this looks good although ambitious. We may need to increase resources to the Membership Committee to reach all of the strategic initiatives that are assigned to this committee.
Jesse Moore
Ditto the comments RE 8% membership growth. Is this based on any data? If we've already captured a high proportion of the likely members in the country then more resources going to the Membership Committee would be ill advised.
Gurjit Sandhu
The objectives and initiatives for the Committees are reflective of the work that we are energized to pursue. Agree, the 8% seems ambitious for Membership.
