The Association for Surgical Education Foundation is providing a scholarship of $2,250 for a surgical educator from Low income and Lower middle income countries (LIMC) to attend Surgical Education Week 2026 in Atlanta, GA.
Participants applying for this scholarship must meet the below criteria:
- Currently employed and practicing in Countries classified as Lower income or Lower middle income group by World Bank. https://ddh-openapi.worldbank.org/resources/DR0095333/download
- Letter of Support from the head of the department of current work place, specifying that the applicant has approval to travel to ASE.
- Short essay on your vision for surgical education in your country and what you hope to learn or obtain by attending the meeting
- A current VISA for travel to the US, or specific, plan and timeline to obtain
- Completion of this application by February 1, 2026
The Registration fee for the annual ASE meeting in 2026 will be waived for selected participant.
