Strategic Plan:

ASE will grow membership and maximize engagement:
This course provides a unique avenue for existing and new members to benefit from ASE membership by engaging them in direct teaching skills.

ASE will maintain financial sustainability while enabling growth
Faculty are volunteer. Expenses are limited to AV setup

ASE will be a prominent national leader in surgical education and develop leaders in the field
Enhancing direct teaching skills is a gap in ASE's offerings that this course helps address

Measurement/Outcomes/Impact: How will the success of the project be measured against the objectives listed above?

We will follow the number of registrants and feedback from the course as well as the revenue generated versus the expenses.

Measurement/Outcomes/Impact: What outcomes, if met, will demonstrate project success?

Ongoing, expanding registration, revenue generation and favorable feedback on end-of-course evaluations

Measurement/Outcomes/Impact: Describe the impact you expect this project will have on the organization and surgical education in general?

This course will expand membership engagement and the benefit they see from membership. Properly marketed, the course may help recruit new members to the organization. Providing evidence-based teaching methods and knowledge and skills to enhance direct clinical teaching stands to benefit surgical education broadly.

Budget

AV Equipement will be needed and potentially a box lunch. Expense will vary by location of meeting and hotel contracts.

Will CME be offered for Proposed Pre-Meeting Course?

Yes, CME will be offered.

Registration Fee for Proposed Pre-Meeting Course:

$200.00

If not selected as a Pre-Meeting Course, are you interested in converting the topic to a Workshop or Panel?

No
