Complete the form below to nominate a worthy candidate or yourself to serve on the Association for Surgical Education Finance Committee.
Per the Bylaws, the Finance Committee shall consist of a Chair, Vice Chair, and 4 members-at-large, all of whom shall be appointed by the President for two year terms that can be renamed at the discretion of the chair and vice chair up to two times. The terms of the members-at-large shall be staggered. The ASE Treasurer will serve as Chair, and the ASE Secretary as Vice Chair of the Finance Committee. The remaining members of the Executive Committee, Executive Director (or management team representative), Chief Financial Officer, and Financial Advisor will serve as ad hoc members.
There are 2 member-at-large positions available this year. The term is for 2 years, which may be renewed up to 2 times.
The Finance Committee’s primary function is to maintain the ASE’s financial and investment policy.
Eligibility Criteria for These Positions:
- Physician and Non-Physician members in good standing are eligible to apply. Members still in training are not eligible to apply for these positions.
- Members may nominate themselves or other members.
- Applicants will be considered based on their service to the ASE/ASE Foundation, contributions to the field of surgical education, and leadership capacity.
